Paulino´s teaching method allows for the
development of practical, conversational Spanish.
There is less emphasis on the performance of
repetitive exercises and more emphasis on daily
use of the language, which gives his students more
of an opportunity to focus on their specific needs.

them know quite a bit of Spanish, but are unable to
speak fluently. Paulin´s method allows his students
to converse in Spanish much more than they
normally would in other classes that involve a more
receptive type of language instruction. His students
are encouraged to speak about subjects that are of
interest and importance to them, which helps them
to progress rapidly. His method integrates elements
of Language Acquisition and the Communicative
Method, while emphasizing the underlying structure
of the Spanish language. Paulino believes that
learning another language should be fun and
enjoyable, as well as being practical for each
student.

CUERNAVACA SPANISH TUTOR ONLINE is
located in central Mexico, in colonial Cuernavaca,
also know as the City of Eternal Spring. Cuernavaca
is approximately one and a half hours south of the
Mexico city airport and about three hours driving
distance from Acapulco.

Paulino (Lino) Velasco (see his bio) has provided
Spanish language immersion instruction for over
40 years in Mexico, the United States, and Sweden.
He has taught students from all over the world in
some of the finest language immersion schools.
Now he has his own school in Cuernavaca, Mexico,
where he instructs individuals and groups, and
also teaches online Spanish classes. Flexible to
the needs of his students, his classes range from
one hour to several hours per week. He holds an
academic knowledge in Teaching Spanish as a
Second Language from Uninter (Universidad
Internacional) and also from Universidad Autonoma
del Estado de Morelos. His training and experience
are reflected in his method of teaching.
